Before you book

Short version: book it, show up on time with ID, take care of it after. The numbers here are the ones checkout uses.

Deposits & payment

  1. 01.1Deposits hold your spot and come off your total. The basic deposit is non-refundable and includes 1 free reschedule.
  2. 01.2Put 20% down on bookings $250+ and get 5% off and 2 reschedules.
  3. 01.3Pay in full on bookings $100+ and get 10% off and 3 reschedules.
  4. 01.4Add-ons and products are never discounted.
  5. 01.5Evening sessions (starting 5 PM+) are +$25 · After-hours sessions (starting 7 PM+) are +$50.

Timing

  1. 02.1Cancel or move at least 72 hours before your session. Later than that, or a no-show, forfeits what you paid.
  2. 02.2Book at least 24 hours ahead, up to 90 days out.
  3. 02.3Running more than 15 minutes late may shorten your session.

Your visit

  1. 03.118+ on the day, with a valid photo ID. No exceptions, even with a parent.
  2. 03.21 guest max. No pets.

Health & safety

  3. 05.3Single-use or properly sterilised equipment, universal precautions, every session.

Design & revisions

  1. 06.1Send clear references and describe your idea, size and placement when you book.
  2. 06.2Small day-of tweaks are welcome. A big redesign may need a new appointment.
  3. 06.3Custom designs stay mine and may be reused or adapted unless we agree on exclusivity in writing.

Wrap

Second-skin film

  1. 1Leave the film onKeep the second-skin film on for 12–24 hours unless told otherwise. Some fluid under the film is normal. If it fills with fluid, lifts a lot or gets uncomfortable, you can change it early.
  2. 2First removal & washWith clean hands, peel the film slowly under lukewarm running water. Wash with a gentle fragrance-free soap and rinse well. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Let it air dry for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3After the film (days 3–7)Wash 1–2× a day and apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser 2–3× a day when it feels tight or itchy. Light peeling is normal. Don’t pick. Keep it out of water and direct sun.

Standard

Bandage + ointment

  1. 1Bandage off & first washTake the bandage off after 2–4 hours. Wash your hands, then gently wash the tattoo with fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  2. 2Days 1–3: light ointmentA very thin layer of ointment up to 2–3× a day if it feels tight. Less is more.
  3. 3Days 4–14: switch to lotionWhen peeling starts, switch to a fragrance-free lotion, thin layer, 2–3× a day.
  4. 4Weeks 2–4: settle & protectOnce fully healed, SPF 30+ whenever it sees sun keeps the black black.

Do

  • Wash your hands before touching it.
  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Wear clean, loose clothing over it.
  • Use SPF 30+ once it’s fully healed.

Don’t

  • Pick, scratch or peel.
  • Soak it: no baths, pools or ocean until healed.
  • Sun or tanning beds while it heals.
  • Over-moisturise.

Cool to lukewarm water. No antibacterial, perfumed or harsh soaps.

Moisturiser

  • Aquaphor Healing Ointment: very thin, first 2–3 days only
  • Hustle Butter: thin layer as needed
  • CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion (fragrance-free)

Shiny or greasy means too much.

Heat that spreads, pus or a fever: see a doctor, then tell me. Free touch-ups within 100 days.
